Common Questions About All-On-4®
How is All-On-4 different from traditional dentures?
The difference is stability and health. Traditional dentures sit on top of your gums and rely on suction or adhesive, which causes them to slip and rub. All-On-4 is anchored into your jawbone. They do not move, they do not cover the roof of your mouth (so you can taste food better), and they help preserve your jawbone from shrinking.
Is the procedure painful?
Most patients are surprised by how comfortable the experience is. Because we perform the surgery under IV Sedation, you will be asleep and feel no pain during the procedure. Post-operative discomfort is typically managed with over-the-counter medication and subsides within a few days.
How long do the teeth last?
The dental implants themselves (the screws) are designed to be a permanent solution and can last a lifetime with proper care. The prosthetic bridge (the teeth) is made of durable Zirconia but may need maintenance or replacement after 15–20 years due to normal wear and tear.
Will I really have teeth in one day?
Yes. We attach a temporary, fully functional set of teeth to your implants on the same day as your surgery. This acts as a "bandage" while your gums heal. You will never have to leave our office without teeth.
Is it expensive? Do you offer financing?
Dental implants are designed to be a permanent solution. Unlike bridges or dentures that may need replacing every 5–10 years, an implant fuses with your jawbone. With proper brushing, flossing, and regular checkups at our clinic, they can last a lifetime, making them a smart long-term investment for your health.
Am I too old for orthodontic treatment?
